compile error (dial in using mgetty)
 

Hi,

newbie here,
I am trying to configure a dial in modem using mgetty, tried to make the file but have the following error msg.

conflicting types for 'sys_errlist'
/usr/include/stdio.h:554: previous delcaration of 'sys_errlist'

anyone can help??

That was a rather useless response. He's trying to run "make" and getting the error. The link you sent him to shows how to configure it AFTER it's been installed.

Thanks, the page did help. cos I manage to get it set up using the version in linux rpm and the config there works quite well.

The one in the rpm install without any error, using the
rpm -i filename.rpm
