Web browser not set to default even though it is the ONLY browser!?!?!
If I uninstall all web browsers and then reinstall one (Chrominum) shouldn't it be the default BY DEFAULT!?!?! Even went to apps to select it as the default web browser, but upon each opening, I have to reset it to default. Doesn't stop normal operation, but what could I be doing wrong?

When Chrominum launches does it say that it's not set as default and than give you the chance to make it the default browser?
It should and if that doesn't work maybe go into the Settings and look there. Another thing you can try is go to a fresh page and type:"about:config" and see if you can change the settings to the browser in there. What DE are you using? Mate? or Cinnamon? Quote:
