php wont work with apache on mint 7
 
hi all,
i just installed mint 7 on my pc and apache/mysql/php
(with the apachephp module thingy)
but i still get asked wheter i want to save or open with something but i want to run it...... and it wont work...

Is the PHP module enabled in the apache2.conf/httpd.conf?
Has Apache been restarted since PHP was installed?

I suspect that the module is not enabled, which is why you are getting the download option. Apache doesn't know how to handle it, so presents it for download. Apache must be restarted before the PHP module will work after it has been installed.

yer i have done all that but im using opensuse 11.0 now cos mint screwed itself
