Configuring Acer Orbicam on an acer aspire 7720 with fedora 8
 
I'm trying to enable a webcam in an acer aspire 7720. Acording to the manual is an acer orbicam.

acer uses so many different camera chipsets it is hard to say. What does ' lsusb -v ' show?
My guess is it may use the uvcvideo module.

On a quick Google search I found this. http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_Acer_Aspire_7720G
Appears to use the uvcvideo module I mentioned. It will need to be installed and loaded before lsusb will see it I believe. Might check out my install of uvcvideo.
