I currently have a HD4650 (RV730) AGP card running in an obsolete 12.04 ubuntu Mint 13 enviroment. I'm thinking about upgrading my ancient PC to Bookworm (Bodhi Legacy 32bit). Using the fglrx-legacy-driver, I can set 1080p extended desktop resolutions on two HDMI/DVI displays. Can you still use multi monitor HD res on open source drivers? I believe the propietary ones were only available up to Debian 7.

How are things going in terms of HW acceleration? Are you able to run customizable resolutions? Cheers
