partitioning hard drive with linux booatable cd

when i am partitioning my harddisk with the manual partitioning facility ,Ido not know the mount point of the vfat partitions on which i have to install windows.there are several options availabe like /,/boot,/mnt,/opt and etc.
please tell me which mount point to be defined for installing windows in it.

You would normally mount a windows partition somewhere like /mnt/hda1 or /mnt/windows but that is up to you. I normally mount my windows partitions like this:
/win/c
/win/d
etc...

When partitioning, the windows partition is normally something like /NTFS or /WIndows
