I_CONSLOG in linux for ioctl how to
 

Hi,
I am trying to port code which is in solaris to linux. I have ioctl.i_cmd = I_CONSLOG, supporting header file is strlog.h in solaris, which r both absent in linux.

so i tried to read var/log/messages but could not know how to isolate console ECC messages, i heard linux doesnot support ECC messages, is it true. I cant use syslog-ngbecause of some issues.

can somebody help me how to go about this rpoblem.
