CTL+ALT+DEL logoff screen gone

hen I installed RH 7.3 with the Gnome desktop, CTL+ALT+DEL would bring up the logoff screen. I installed the Ximian Gnome desktop package and now CTL+ALT+DEL does nothing and I have to use the foot to get to my logoff screen. Is there a way to get that back?

You may probably have to define the shortcut keys for that. I dont know about Ximian gnome. but in normal cases that comes as a default shortcut. The method of assigning shortcut is different on different window managers . So you have to take a little pain searching through the all settings to find out it or wait till someone suggest a method

Try r-clicking empty space on desktop. The last option is "logout".
I use ctrl-alt-backspace to restart X-it takes me back to the GUI login screen.HTH
