cant installltmodem(lucent) drivers(no kernel headers found)

Hi to everyone.. i am trying to install the drivers for my Lucent modem..i am executing the first command which is
./build_module..
everything is cool till i get the following error:
.
.
checking for kernel headers
in /usr/src/linux : nope
/usr/src/kernel-header -2.6.4-52-default: nope
/usr/src/linux-2.6.54: nope
/usr/src/linux-2.6.54-default: nope
Error: No kernel headers found
.
.
what should i do..is there any way that i can download these headers?
i am using suse 9.1 and i have only one cd from the distro.
thanx in advance..

I'd try to download the matching kernel source from
a SuSE mirror close to you and install it.

first of all i checked if the kernel is already installed and i think it is.i went to yast->add/remove programs and i searched for kernel..the results show me that i have already installed the
kernel-default standar kernel 2.6.4-52(iam not quite sure about the No of version)

So..do i have to install anything else..i am afraid that if i download any wrong kernel and install it , i may crash the system..and how i could find the matching kernel for my linux?
cheers..

finally i found out what was wrong..i had downloaded the wrong drivers version (ltmodem 8.26a.tar.gz) which they could support my kernel for
suse 9.1..after i downloaded the ltmodem 2.6.2-36.i586.rpm and install it everything worked!

Please note: what you have installed is the kernel
binaries. You still need the kernel-source to compile
a driver against it.

kernel != kernel-source

Glad you found a working binary rpm for your
modem-driver, though ;)
