Bare-metal restore problems with Redhat ES 3.0

Hi Everyone,
I am attempting to do a bare-metal restore os Redhat ES 3.0 ( and ES 2.1 and AS 2.1) but cannot find any good documentation on this. Here is what I have been able to do and not do.
I have several servers that I backup each night. I would like to be able to take a new server out of the box and put a barebones installation of linux on it, then add the backup client to it and restore from tape the data, reboot the box and everything should be fine. The newly restored box should have the same name, OS, Configuration, users, etc. of the server that was backed up to tape.
Well, I can accomplish this on my laptop, but not on any of the servers. I think the problem is in the sizing and order that the partitions are created. I don't think I am matching them correctly, and like I said, I am doing a full recovery all OS and data.

I am using Omniback A.04.10 as my backup manager.
Has anyone ran into this problem, or does anyone have a proven DR procedure they would like to share?

Thanks,
