etc/rcS.d/S100localnet intervention : command not found

Got to the point of booting the system now and I almost works..(well it works but theres two errors on startup..that I can see)

first one says..
etc/rcS.d/S100localnet intervention : command not found

then a while later same error but with the file name
etc/rc3.d/S200ethnet

No idea what this means, I did a search but didnt see any others with the exact same error..

But symlinks are present and linked to an existing file and the case is correct.
ummm..yea... thats about as much info as I got..

anyone know what I have or haven't done?

weird for sure, there's no word 'intervention' anywhere in the scripts. Perhaps you made a typo somewhere.

Try downloading the scripts from ftp.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs-bootscripts/ and see if that works better for you. At least you can compare your version with the version of proper working scripts.

I made the the scripts match and ran comp on the originals to make sure they were perfect..and grep'd just to make sure but cant find any occurance of this mistery word..
Not sure where its calling that word from..
Is there any other steps I can take or places where things would effect these files?
Any config error I could of made while configuring the kernel..just that they both relate to network...maybe something in hosts file..I'lllook at them just to make sure..

sob...I can't fix it..I can't find any other occurance of it..
but I was wondering..

Is there a requirement for a network device in the /dev dir?
I was thinking I could of missed it sometime during the start cause both errors I'm getting are related to the network card/config (which does work fine btw)..

found the issue, there was a space in my hostname in the network file..I shoulda picked it up since I was the one who named it..
