HI FRIENDS,

I'M NEW TO LINUX. I HAVE SATA HARD DISK AND SATA CD-WRITER. I'M UNABLE TO INSTALL RHEL ANY VERSION INTO MY SYSTEM. IF I USE ANOTHER CD-ROM THEN I'M ABLE TO INSTALL. TELL ME SOLUTION TO ME. HOW TO INSTALL RHEL BY USING SATA CD-WRITER.

Hi Friend,

Do a Net Install, or use a PATA DVD Drive.

I never worked out how to get around the problem, and since SATA support in the latest kernel leaves a lot to be desired, i doubt it will improve for a while.

Also: ALL CAPS IS ANNOYING. ;)
