How to Install Tomcat 5 on RHEL 4
 

Hi guys, I tried to search on the net for guides on how to set up tomcat 5 on rhel 4 but I can not find one. Any one knows the steps? Thanks in advance.

sorry on the timing, i just found your question while googling to figure out how to do this myself.

anyhow, log into RHN, go to the "Systems" tab, then click on the system you want to install tomcat5 on. in the lower left, you'll see a link for "Alter Subscribed Channels". click on that link, then click on the box next to "Redhat Developer Suite v.3". submit that change.

then, log into your server and run "# up2date tomcat5".
