Boot from SAN

Hello,
I have an HP Blade System and an SAN System connected to those Blades. My question is that How can I boot the Linux operating system from SAN. You can do that on Windows, I suppose that it can be done on Linux boxes.
If it is, could you please write it down how to do? Thanksç

This thread the person indicates he does that on Suse. He was having issues with RedHat though - he didn't respond to my last post so I don't know if he got that working.
