Try that search on youtube and then sort by most views so you will reduce the list of videos to the ones that people seem to like.

What do you mean by "new"? What have you viewed up to this point? I agree with Rinndalir that you can search for videos on youtube, but also feel that you'll have to sort out what presentations are the most interesting and helpful for you. Any given person's presentation style may be good or bad for you.

There are plenty of results if you google for Pi projects on the web. You may want to consider looking for ideas where you can incorporate sensors like switches, accelerometers, or temperature and humidity. Things where you have to read/write to I2C or SPI or perform A/D conversion. I've found that a lot of embedded is dealing with simple sensory and control devices serially, through some sort of interface, and then performing this all in real time, or a suitable emulation of real time. Linux will give you a good "emulation" of real time, but running no OS is also a good thing to learn. Many of the embedded project type processors like Microchip, or Arduino can provide development kits with simple projects in C.
