Linux distro installation
 

I have tried fedora, parrot os , kali Linux as a dual boot, no problem encountered there. Today I tried kubutnu, xubuntu, ubuntu, garuda-linux to dual boot, issue was "RTS ENABLED".

So since I want to learn linux [I am a beginner ofc] please tell any good distro that can work on RST enabled except parrot os & kali linux [since they are pentesting distro] and fedora [ which i dont want to use].

what is that "RTS ENABLED" issue? Why do you want dual boot? Just install an ubuntu or mint or whatever you like.
If you want to learn it you can start it in a VM too.

If you're a beginner, why are you using Parrot or Kali for ANYTHING??? And as pan64 asked, what is "RTS" in this context, because it makes zero sense. And why don't you want to use Fedora?? What's the problem with using it, versus Mint??

Without telling us exactly what issues/messages you're getting when trying to install (and why dual boot??) we can't help.

MINT also giving the same error

because I have only 4gb ram, my system hangs.

Ah...so now that the context makes sense, did you follow the steps in the article you linked to, to be able to install???
Why?? You're new to Linux...why does it have to be Debian based??
Again: Parrot and Kali are for advanced users, and you said yourself that Fedora works fine. And go back to point #1, where you link to an article that tells you how to do what you want, and be able to install Debian, Ubuntu, or....

Makes no sense...again, why dual boot??? Boot ONE THING...Linux. That's it...4GB is enough.

Use a 'live' distro from a pendrive, then it won't touch your internal disk, unless you tell it to.

4GB is ample for just about any distro, but as you want a debian system, I suggest MX Linux as a very good starting point.

...which is why you do the change *IN* Windows; did you read that link you posted??? And if you have a Dell, all you need is the Windows installation ISO from the Microsoft website. The activation key is part of Dell systems. And before you do anything, anywhere, you should always have backups, so there is no problem, is there??
...which brings us BACK to the question asked: *WHY* do you need/want a Debian based distro??? It gets you nothing special.
Great; so if you follow the instructions in the link you posted, you'll be able to install Linux and GRUB, and be able to dual boot. So where is the problem/issue???
