Want to share my wifi by creating a wifi hotspot ( While staying connected to wifi)?

Hi guys,
I am currently using ubuntu 15.04 (not fully satsified as it freezes a lot)
and I want to switch to anybbother linux distro and I want to know is there any linux distro in which I can create a wifi hotspot while I am conected to another wifi network (basically to increase the range without buying any additional stuff) . In windows I can easily do this by downloading any hotspot application (and there are a lot of apps to serve this purpose) but I am unable to do so in ubuntu (even after installing these apps with wine) , so what I want to know is there any other distro which can serve this purpose and if yes can you please guide me how I can do this ?
Any help will be apreciated .
Thanx:newbie:

Pretty much ANY distro will do. If you want to use Ubuntu, you can still do that, but perhaps try Xubuntu if you are not satisfied with Ubuntu (and Unity). It is the same distro, except it has a different desktop envorionment (Xfce).

In order to create a network like you describe, you simply click on the WiFi icon, in the dropdown menu there is an option called "Create new wireless network".

You can share your internet connection (e.g.: 3G or wired) with a few clicks using nm. You will need a supported Wi-Fi card (Cards based on Atheros AR9xx or at least AR5xx are probably best choice).
Ad-hoc

Click on applet and choose "Create new wireless network".
Follow wizard (if using WEP, be sure to use 5 or 13 character long password, different lengths will fail).
Settings will remain stored for the next time you need it.

Not sure any distro will help this freezing issue. Almost every modern linux uses the same basic kernel and almost all associated files.

Debian has a single key sort of way to bridge a lan to wifi. Never tried it with wifi to wifi.

There are ways to use linux tools to allow traffic from one nic to the other.

I know that but I want to share the wifi network I am using which is not possible that way as it disables my wifi . What I want to do is to share the WiFi network I am connected to via wifi hotspot so that I can use it from a distant range and I was able to do it in windows 7.

Some folks use iptables.

Kind of assumes a few things too.

Most people use a wifi extender for this task.
