dont want to see volumes in file manager

hi,

do either of you know a way to hide the volumes in the file manager?
The Deepin file manager shows all the volumes I CAN connect to, I do this via fstab and don't need the view, and it's only confusing.
Nautilus File Manager also displays the folders in which I have included the partitions twice, i. e. normally in the overview at the top left and then again at the bottom, as mounted.
I mount like this..
: > //ip/share/documents /home/tom/documents cifs.....

PS:
hmm...cannot add pictures from pasteboard?

Hi taumeister,

I'm not a frequent user of Nautilus (PCManFM is my go-to file-manager...), but most file managers I've used have configurable preferences concerning what to display and how. Check the menu items for "Preferences" for anything resembling choices of what to display in the left-hand pane and how.

Hope this may help - maybe actual Nautilus-using members can be of more assistance if not.

Cheers.

Thank you for your kind answer.
Of course I first check if I can configure something somewhere, then I go to the WWW and then I ask in the forum.
There are many different answers on the web, but I don't really want to have to interfere with the system.
Maybe someone else has this problem and has solved it before.

PS. I dont think this is a Nautilus only Problem, of course I use the deepin-filemanger too ( because it is into the system ) and there is the same problem.

The problem always occurs with me,
if anything is mounted from gparted.
Then my file manager goes crazy and shows all drives multiple times.
Whatever. Apparently there is no solution.
Thanks anyway
