Disable maximize on drag to top of screen
Anybody know how to disable this super annoying "feature" in deepin 20? Happy with it otherwise, but this drives me crazy. Thanks.

Something like this:
Menu => Settings => window manager settings => disable annoying feature The names are probably different, it might be something like "Window effects" instead, but you'll find it evtl. |
Literally NONE of the settings you mention exist.

The names might be quite different though (as I pointed out). But I can already see how my attempts to help are being received. Good Bye. |

Launch dde-control-center. The window should have the sandwich symbol (≡) somewhere (allegedly in the bottom right corner). Click on it and follow your common sense. I don't use Deepin, so I don't know the exact naming and layout, but it's probably there.
A big problem with Deepin is that large chunks of its documentation appear to be poorly translated from Chinese to English, so at times difficult to understand. Another thought. The window manager in Deepin is dde-kwin. From its name it looks like a fork of the KDE window manager, so maybe this also applies here. You can open Display Settings and Corner Settings by right-clicking on Desktop and selecting them from the menu. |
OK well I stumbled across my own solution so documenting here.
Right Click on the menu bar of any window More Actions -> Configure Window Manager -> Screen Edges Uncheck Maximize "Windows dragged to top edge" |
