Regarding to Linux Certification
 

Hello Everyone, I want to gain Linux certification and I have search about it for a long time and I have shortlisted a few certifications but I am confused about which one is better for me. I have 1 year experience in PHP and want to become linux certified. Can anyone suggest me which is better for me?

1. LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator)
2. Linux+ CompTIA
3. GCUX – GIAC Certified Unix Security Administrator
4. LPIC 3 – 300 – Linux Enterprise Professional Certification
5. LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer)

I can say, however, that you are listing certificates at wildly varying levels.

1. LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator)
Not entirely entry level, but not advanced.

2. Linux+ CompTIA
Entry level

3. GCUX – GIAC Certified Unix Security Administrator
This is not a Linux certificate and is probably very advanced and specialized

4. LPIC 3 – 300 – Linux Enterprise Professional Certification
Very advanced

5. LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer)
Advanced (next step after LFCS)

My suggestion: Look at your current skill level. Gain clarity what you want to get certified for. Do your homework and find certificates that are compatible with your level and lead to your goal.
