USB - Hidden /home Boots. Non hidden /home fails

Hello, I have a problem.

incognito-i686-2009.0-beta.iso
Live CD runs with no problems or errors. ISO MD5 check passed.

Live CD - test boot installed - successful.

USB - installed following manual instructions. Test boot with non persistent /home - successful.

USB - installed and set password for Main /home and password for Hidden /home

Test boot using Hidden /home password - successful.
Test boot using Main /home password - error dialog windows
Test boot using Main /home password & Hidden /home password - error dialog windows

Error Dialog Windows as follows

There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was.
Could not open network socket
Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running
[OK] click x2

Will not save configuration
Configuration file "/home/incognito/.kde3.5/share/config/khotkeys_updaterc" not writable.
Please contact.....Blah Blah.....
[OK] repeat click process repeats errors with differing /config/???????? files Then

No write access to $Home directory(/home/incognito).
[OK] click
Blank screen hard reboot needed

Re-test boot using Hidden /home password - successful.

I tested the USB install home.tc with TrueCrypt within the Live CD. Using Main and then Hidden passwords both successfully mounted home.tc.
A test text file was on the hidden homepage as expected proving I had previously booted into the hidden /home directory.
Also tested using same using Main password, no test text file present as expected.

Any ideas,
Many Thanks

I've seen something similar. Try to increase the size of the non-hidden part of the TC setup (100 MB works for me at least) and see if the problem persists.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion, I'll have a go.

Hi, Anonym

That was indeed the problem I had set the Hidden /home way too big and I presume Normal /home could not load. It was about 40-50mb.
Working like a treat now.
Might be worth mentioning this in the setup section to give people a heads up on this error possibility.

Anyway.

Many Thanks
