Anybody know of a Linux CD RIpper?

I would like to be able to rip CD's in Linux like I can in Windows, but I haven't been able to find any Linux CD-Rippers. Anybody know of any or any Windows CD Rippers that will run in Wine?

Why use wine? I have found and used grip which I think beats any ripper ever made in Windows...

I figured with 3 whole responses, one of them would have mentioned cdparanoia.
I don't know what you've used in windows, but if it wasn't EAC I'd say cdparanoia beats it....I've been using it with dekagen as a frontend, and it does really well

# cdparanoia - search for a drive with reporting of autosense:
cdparanoia -vsQ
# Rip a complete audio CD with cdparanoia
cdparanoia -B "1-"

Yep.. As fancypiper mentioned I would on any day fancy cdparanoia and bladeenc .. This is a command line utility...

And it is very very simple..

cdparanoia -D <....> -B /tmp/prefix_of_music_file

This will result in the wav files being dumped in the /tmp/ directory .. and you should replace <....> with the cdrom device number...

and you will have something like

/tmp/prefix_of_music_file.inf
/tmp/prefix_of_music_file.wav..... and so on for all the tracks..

And then you just have to bladeenc prefix_of_music_file.wav <file name>.mp3

And thats it !!

Grip is a clicky clicky front end to the rippers cdparanoia and cdda2wav.

cdparanoia may rip slower but gives better rips

cdda2wav would be equivalent to the Windows<whatever> rippers.

Select your preferred ripper in the config tabs.

and there is a last resort to rip cd-tracks in mp3, where you need no software. just type "audiocd://" in the konqueror location bar, and the audion cd will open with virtual directories. go into the directory named Ogg Vorbis, can you see the tracks in *.ogg format? now copy a track and paste it to your desktop! BUT this process takes some time!!
