problem with newly installed openssl
 

i asked on gentoo forumes but there is no further answer there.
please if you need any log tell what you need.

And, last entry in that thread says "will delete and start over"?
So, what exactly is happening?

yes i started over and i again have new gnome on newly installed gentoo (almost everything is installed and i need to do some configurations but overall the system is working again).
i asked also in gentoo's irc channel and they suggested there that i'll start over and that's what i did.

You still haven't stated the actual problem. That would be helpful so people can possibly offer a solution.

i could not emerge anything.
no matter what i tried i got segmentation fault.
i could unmerge packages but not merging.
this was my main problem.

as i said i gave up and reinstall gentoo again.
