You need to configure the cross compiler for the correct target. If you are using a native compiler on an armv7 and not configuring it to cross compile, then exactly what you say is true.

Better instead to see if you have an x86 target with the Linaro toolkit and see if you can make a proper cross compilation configuration for armv8.

it's a long story collected u-boot. prepared sd card, created a partition, formatted it, recorded u-boot, downloaded portage, downloaded stage armv7 all unpacked took the kernel from armbian put it in the boot took modules. well, that was collected. thanks for the help, what happened to gather Gentoo is the merit of all forums and forum users. helped all countries) Russia, USA , China... everyone helped.
