why is information so hard to find about linux? for as old as this software is its still pretty primitive. I asked two questions in the software section lets see how smart people are by answering these stumping questions. PS i vote anyone answering these true linux guru. other wise your just as stupid as me.

First, you cannot _demand_ peoples to answer your questions. You not really have the _right_ to use this site, it's a privilege, remember it. Also, you've just posted your questions _today_(some, in less then an hour). You've to learn how to be patient. Since this is an International site, peoples from half of the planet are either sleeping or working... this is not a live chat.

Being polite is the key to have your questions answered. I pretty much went through your threads and your attitudes are nothing but from one who wants to start little fights here, there and put Windows Vs Linux again... I, personally, will ignore your posts...

in other words you dont know the answer. this is the last place i can maybe find someone that knows it. I have been to hell and back, so here i am.

So you have 2 unanswered questions and believe that because of this there is no answer? ptui

Your cursor question could be solved by applying similar methods to those you would use under Windows: have a look through the files on your hard disk especially under the KDE directory. Also include the hidden folders in your home directory.

As to your Limewire question: distro? version of Java? version of Limewire? you know: troubleshooting information. We can only provide answers based on the information given.

Also, there is plenty of information out there: we have (on this site alone) the Linux Tutorial section, the Search function and man pages. On your computer there are man and info pages. Google/Linux has already been posted, there are a multitude of books and there is The Linux Documentation Project. If you are installing from source, look at the INSTALL and README files. For an OS that has no documentation or help available, there are an awfully large number of people who have it up and running.

So I'm glad to say we're not stupid like you.. but hey, your the one who said it. I see that both your threads with questions pretty much got answers or should point you in the right direction. You should really try searching first, tons of hits on your topics off of google.com/linux

And to be honest, I find information on Linux much easier and faster than Windows, which lacks good community support.

Try going to http://www.google.com/windows .. even the largest search engine even has its own Linux search but not a Windows search.. http://www.google.com/linux

It has microsoft search, not windows ( www.google.com/microsoft ), but it hasn't redhat search. :D

Who wants to search Microsoft.. that's the company not the OS.. ;)

It might be a search engine for all Microsoft OSs, hence the name google.com/microsot instead of windows...

I know, I'm kidding.. I knew nothing about that google link, hence I never search for Microsoft related links.. :)

We can answer virtually all your questions about Linux, but I charge $150/hr U.S. People who ask for help in a respectful manner get it for free around here every day. People who demand answers, and subsequently troll the forum, normally end up on ignore lists, and are SOL.
