Debian 3.0r2
I'm new to debian. I have Xp on drive one. I want debian on drive two with grub loaded on the second drive not on the MBR. when I start to install it says it's going to load grub on the MBR. What am I missing before I go to far here.

Try to read this article wich describes how to install Debian :
http://osnews.com/story.php?news_id=2016&page=1 I think "Going through the main installation cycle - Part IV" will help you.... Jgf |
And don't worry - FOSS is about choice. While a WinXP install will clobber your Debian installation in the MBR, Grub will allow you to boot either your existing XP partition, or your new Debian one. Grub will even let you make XP your default boot.
