Anyone use links2 on sid?

I run mutt and I use links2 -g to view some attachments. A few weeks ago, after an upgrade, I can't get it to work in graphical mode anymore. This is the error message:

---------------------- DirectFB v0.9.22 ---------------------
(c) 2000-2002 convergence integrated media GmbH
(c) 2002-2004 convergence GmbH
-----------------------------------------------------------

(*) DirectFB/Core: Single Application Core. (2006-03-01 23:40)
(*) Direct/Memcpy: Using SSE optimized memcpy()
(!) DirectFB/FBDev: Couldn't open neither `/dev/fb0' nor `/dev/fb/0'!
--> No such file or directory
(!) DirectFB/Core: Could not initialize 'system' core!
--> File not found!
svgalib: Cannot get I/O permissions.

This happens as user or as root. What do I need to setup on my machine to make this work? This is run in a terminal in X.

Thanks!

I noticed this problem too. Then again, I use Links2 very rarely, so it doesn't really bother me.

After noticing the bug, I uninstalled Links2 and then I installed the older version of Links2 from the stable repository. Then I tagged Links2 not to be upgraded in aptitude (I do all my package management with aptitude).

If you want to see the Links2 problem fixed, maybe you should consider reporting it to the package maintainer via Debian's bug tracking system?

EDIT:
I decided to rebuild links2 according to these instructions: http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/20

Now links2 works just like it used to before the upgrade. :)
