How do I boot DSL as a live USB with a persistent overlay without unetbootin and...
I need to boot Damn Small Linux as a live USB flash drive with a persistent overlay without using the program unetbootin. In addition to that I would like to know how to make this boot automatically and immediately upon turning on the computer without installing or changing my settings on windows (which I think you can accomplish by changing a file with a .cfg ending). I would also like to do this on windows if possible but I can do it on a CD copy of Damn Small Linux or an installed copy of Ubuntu.
BTW if you are curious, I am doing this on an Acer Aspire One AO751h: 1.33GHz Intel atom processor, 1GB RAM. The USB flash drive has 1GB of storage. Damn Small Linux website: http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/ Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. |
