Unable to detect ports in the additional NIC

I am facing an issue with a Dell server having CentOS 7. Other than the default LAN ports, an extra NIC (Broadcom5720 DP 1GB) has been installed in the server for network connectivity. The ports in this NIC are showing active but they are not functioning concurrently with the two default LAN ports in the server. At a time only 2 ports are shown activated.

How to activate all the 4 LAN ports so that all of them can be used at the same time?

According to linux-hardware.org the network adapter is supported by kernels 3.17 and newer but the latest in CentOS 7 is 3.10. On the other hand in the status section it works with RHEL 7 which should be the same kernel version.

If they are showing active but not functioning how are they configured???

I understood the kernels part but not clear about status section that you have mentioned in the response. Can I have a clarification on this? From your reply it is understood that the NIC is not compatible. In this case, what is the way out?

The staus section is just a list of hardware and operating systems and if the hardware in question worked or not. As posted it shows RHEL 7 which is basically the same as CentOS 7 as working. The question was if it showed in the output of the command

ip a
