Python error installing Centos 7 on Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga

I'm trying to install Centos 7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga:

Code:

Processor                  : Intel Core i7-6600U Processor (4MB Cache, up to 3.40GHz)
Operating System            : Windows 10 Pro 64
Display                    : 14.0 WQHD (2560 x 1440) OLED Touch
Memory                      : 16GB LPDDR3 SDRAM 1866MHz
Graphics                    : Intel HD Graphics 520
Security Features          : Integrated Fingerprint Reader
TPM Setting                : Software TPM Enabled
Camera                      : 720p HD Camera with Microphone
Security Chip              : Software TPM & Hardware dTPM
Hard Drive                  : 1 TB Solid State Drive PCIe-NVMe
Pointing device            : UltraNav (TrackPoint and ClickPad)
Wireless                    : Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 (2x2 Wi-Fi, 11ac) with Bluetooth 4.1
Integrated Mobile Broadband : Integrated Mobile Broadband 4G LTE (Huawei ME906S)
Display Panel              : 14.0" OLED WQHD (2560 x 1440), touch, No WiGig, Camera, Mic
ThinkPad Pen                : ThinkPad Pen Pro

What I did:
  • Shrunk Windows partion to 200GB via MiniTool Partition Wizard.
  • Created a 400GB NTFS data partition to share data between Windows and Linux.
  • Created a 350GB Ext4 partition for Linux.
  • Created a bootable USB stick using Rufus on Windows 10. I choose the GPT partition scheme for UEFI.
  • Disabled secure boot in the bios.
  • Booted the USB stick, selected Centos 7 install, manual partitioning, selected a single root (/) partition.
  • Once the install started I got an error reported as a bug by the installer. The error was in a python script.
Questions:
  • Does this ring a bell with anyone? (Yeah I know, what was the error message - see below).
  • During a Linux install (esp one that fails), is there a way to capture the log/error messages so I can paste it into a forum post? At this point I don't even have a clipboard.

Snap a picture if you cannot memorize it and put the error into your favorite search engine.
