Need to know the inputs for entering the network and hostname details while installing centos 7

Hi,

I am trying to install centos 7 using vmware workstation, however, I am not geting the proper way to provide details in network and hostname where we connect to the netowrk. I am using my wifi.

Please provide me the steps to give the inputs for network & hostname using my wifi connection

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

VMware uses a virtual network adapter that 'connects' to the host's physical adapter. It depends on how you configured the virtual machine, I don't use VMware but I believe the preferred adapter is the vmxnet3 adapter. If you are using a NAT network and leave CentOS using DHCP then all you should need to enter is whatever hostname/FQDN you want to use for your virtual machine.
