Editing menu in CentOS6.9

I recently tried to install the latest Firefox Developer version on CentOS 6, but I really should have done my research, doesn't work with 32bit.

So I backed out and reinstalled the version that comes with the distro.

Problem: The link in the Applications dropdown menu no longer links to the working version.

How do I edit the menu?

A "Google" leads to a number of sites that say you can right click to edit the menu, but not for me.

How do I edit the menu?

check your desktop files to be 1, sure it exist for that app, 2. to be sure it is pointing to that app, and not malformed in any way. 3. make sure the app itself is actually there.
