Could you post the output of cat /proc/cmdline, please ?

caochivi 11-04-2016 12:43 AM

this is the output of cat /proc/cmdline
BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/centos-root ro rd.lvm.lv=centos/root rd.lvm.lv=centos/swap rhgb quiet reboot=pci LANG=en_US.UTF-8

i have try with reboot=apci, but still the same issue

dijetlo 11-04-2016 07:34 AM

Eh, the APCI thing may not be the problem ( or their may be more than one problem and acpi is interacting with something else in an unlikeable way)
I notice you have added (correctly, I think) the "no bootsplash" option (rhgb quiet), are you still seeing the bootsplash on reboot or are you looking at the output of systemd ?
If you are looking at the output, when it hangs, what are the last entries before it stops?

Sorry for late to reply, i just back to work.

when i reboot, it just display 3 seconds to change the selection. then it hang with black screen. not see the bootsplash.

caochivi 11-09-2016 01:25 AM

maybe it was fixed with this
BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.10.0-327.36.3.el7.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/centos-root ro rd.lvm.lv=centos/root rd.lvm.lv=centos/swap rhgb quiet reboot=warm,cold,bios,smp,triple,kbd,acpi,efi,pci,force LANG=en_US.UTF-8

i tried to reboot 50 times but did not hang anymore.

Thank you
