Who are the Bodhi Linux Team?

It has a philosophical Asian vibe, but the creators are not out front.

I know who created my distro, who maintains it, and their countries.

Bodhi Team is more hidden.

Well, AIUI, the name Bodhi Linux is a wordplay as first releases came with Enlightenment windows manager.

Jeff Hoogland abandoned this project more than 3 years ago. Now the lead developer is Robert Wiley a.k.a Ylee. Feel free to join us on new official forums for more questions:

Besides the web page, if you run bodhi, there is an "About Bodhi Linux" in the menu that lists team members too. As far as countries, I don't know of anyone on Bodhi Team in Asia (but I could be wrong). The two main devs are North America and Europe based, as are most of the other community team members.

As shruggy suggested, the name Bodhi is wordplay. I believe that in Budhism, buddha achieved enlightenment under the bodhi tree. Bodhi's Moksha desktop uses (fairly) current EFL (Enlightenment Foundation Libraries) and is a fork of an older version (e17) of the Enlightenment desktop.

As previously noted the Bodhi Team is not hidden at all. We are highlighted in the OS itself as well as on our website. We are very accessible, if you wish to get to know us just join our Discord channel.
