Bodhi for Raspberry Pi

Bodhi is my go-to distro for low spec machines. Having tried Ubuntu MATE on my RPi 3, I found it much too hungry for RAM. Then I discovered this experimental version of Arch with Enlightenment for RPi.

But an upgrade broke it and now I cant boot. In the course of my research I found there was once an alpha release of Bodhi for the RPi here:

So now I want to know, will Bodhi ever come to the RPi platform?

It is extremely unlikely at this point, we simply lack the manpower and time to deal with supporting another platform. If someone capable volunteered to do all the work needed for such a project and agree to stay around and support this platform, then probably yes.

I first used Bodhi (version 2) on a Raspberry Pi 1. It was the final release for the Pi, not alpha, and it ran very well, no bugs. I no longer have the Pi (I donated it to a local school), but I still have Bodhi 2 for RPi1 on an SD card.

enlightenment's main page says

Enlightenment still produces this Window Manager, but it has evolved to also cover Mobile, Wearable and TV UI requirements for projects such as Tizen as well as the traditional “desktop” UI.
Does that not imply an affinity to ARM?

Re: Bodhi on Raspberry Pi

Enlightenment is available through debian apt. I recommend DietPi. #Apt install enlightenment. Use vc4-fkms-v3d and 256 gpu mem in config.txt with 2048 gb swap and zram (using USB m.2 ssd) Very snappy and usable, fastest desktop Ive had on Pi 3 B+. Audio is smooth, Youtube has very few issues, and it doesnt freeze. Enlightenment on Apt is newish at 0.22, 0.23 is current release (ignore e17, is dummy pkg) You can also use some of the deepin pkgs on apt for a nice looking display since DDE isnt available.
