And an on request entry ... porridge recipe!

Not much of a blog, entry, I admit, but it's one
of my standard breakfast dishes, and I've been
asked to put it up here ... so here we go.
of my standard breakfast dishes, and I've been
asked to put it up here ... so here we go.
Code:
Ingredients 50g whole grain oats 150ml milk 2 dry figs (roughly 35 g) 1 banana 25g walnut pieces 1 tsp cinnamon Instructions Chop up the figs, mix with oats, add milk and soak over night. In the morning boil the porridge up as usual, add milk as required. When the porridge has the right consistency, chop the banana in slices, add it to the porridge and simmer for an extra minute or so. Put in/on bowl/plate, sprinkle with the cinnamon, top with walnuts. Yum! =o}

It was so nice of you that day that you put this recipe on your blog. My family members have been diagnosed with a low cholesterol problem and all us have started to eat Oats now (which is not normal for Indians) And your blog is proving to be of a great help in making that Oat meal edible which otherwise is tasteless. I'll be going again today to purchase those figs, walnut and cinnamon.

I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed the recipe, and that
it helps your family as well. And I didn't realise that people
actually read (& responded) to the blog - hence the very
late response.Posted 02-01-2011 at 10:27 AM by Tinkster -
I guess you haven't clicked the "Subscribe to this blog" link otherwise you would have got the notification of the comment.
Keep posting the breakfast recipes (which don't require an oven), I usually skip breakfast most of the daysPosted 02-01-2011 at 07:41 PM by Aquarius_Girl -

really thought about the implications of running
a blog; and the concept of monitoring response, well
... kind of slipped my mind.Posted 02-01-2011 at 10:53 PM by Tinkster -
It seems you are not much interested in
having people read your blogs , I wonder
if there is some feature here by which you
can stop everyone from viewing your blogs
and then you can post anything without worrying
about the consequences and that'll save a
lot of paper too!Posted 02-01-2011 at 11:09 PM by Aquarius_Girl -

LOL, no, I meant we all humans sometime
or the other feel the need to write our
thoughts in the PAPER dairies, because
you are a human too (I am assuming
you are a human), you must be writing
your private thoughts to your private
dairy too, so if this blog was made private,
you could write here instead of wasting paper,
I hope I am clear this timePosted 02-02-2011 at 09:52 PM by Aquarius_Girl -

My Mom taught me at a young age to never write down anything you don't want anyone else to see, and for the most part, I've followed that advice.
Not too reign on your parade though -- sorry. Maybe I'm weird. O.oPosted 02-03-2011 at 03:22 AM by lupusarcanus
