The Future of Network Hardware

I thought I'd post an observation I made. I thought I'd start by posting it here, for this community. I can see the future of networks a little bit.
I believe, that in the near future (within the next 25 years), we will start to really benefit from the IOTs (Internet of Things). I believe that there will be devices invented and in use, which will also start to come down in price, such as the Anstle. I think that it will become commonplace around that time, for everyone except for areas more rural than this one, to have Internet Access, and a home network.
I expect that the basic infrastructure will get inherently more complicated in the average house. There will be one or more routers and one or more switches. Each router will have it's own wifi. Then there will actually be servers on the typical home network. Some people will only need an ftp server, using an NAS. Some people will need more servers, and will use something like Anstle. Just about everyone, in both groups, will have several smartphones and several tablets connected to the Internet, and some Digital Assistants as well.
Computers will be there, but they will be there only for the users who need more powerful devices. Gaming even will mostly be done on these other devices, but things to dock them will become more commonplace for most users.
The more technical you are, the more you do things yourself though. If you are really technical, it will become a hop-skip-and-a-jump to have all those things, plus a computer or two for custom made servers.
More people will know about and use Linux, and they will do so for servers if nothing else. Microsoft's servers will go out of business, and be replaced by Linux, and working versions of React OS. Except for Microsoft will be able to keep developing them, and not all hope will be lost, but most of the market share will be lost unless they radically rewrite their whole server OSs now! Linux will be the most used Active Directory Suite there is. Windows clients will still exist, and will be better than ever, but there will be more choices of OSs, and more dual booting and using virtualization.
These are some of the things I expect to start to see in the next 25 years, and if I don't get in and help with them, I believe somebody else would do it anyway.
