i wonder because that would drag Windows XP beyond the
term of support.

Well, that's why this variation on letting them eat their own dogfood should work, because it would hurt real bad. And apparently they only react when it really hurts. I read a dissection of the Microsoft bugfixing proces (can't remember where) a short while ago and it seems they've got an overhead of *at least* 10 to 1. I'm sure there's overhead that can be "re-educated" to work on XP's "hidden features" :-]Posted 12-31-1969 at 07:00 PM by unSpawn
