curl: (28) SSL connection timeout | ERROR: No working mirrors found
Good Morning!
I hope everyone who reads this message is well and without major problems. Don't forget that there will always be someone or more, at some point in your life, who will help you or need help. The biggest problem is when you can't help... And you tried! We often make mistakes and successes. The union does wonderful things and at the right time everything is resolved. Maybe you have someone... A friend, family member, a neighbor, a co-worker or even an elderly person who needs your help. Do good... Fight evil, don't make the mistake I made when I failed to call people and find out if they needed my help. Even though I wasn't sure if they were my friends or not. Seek out the people you always thought were your friends without even knowing it. Maybe there's still time for you to help them. I will write what is happening on my computer after installing Bedrock Linux. I did some research on the Internet, but it didn't solve my problem. I have TOR and Privoxy and it is giving the following error: root@wkgames-home:/home/wkgames# brl update * Checking for updates Checking https://raw.githubusercontent.com/be...d/0.7/releases... E tentou! One distro's init and networking stuff can get confused if it sees a `resolv.conf` from another distro's init and networking stuff. Bedrock solves this by deleting `resolv.conf` at boot to force the init to re-create it. If you just use one init, this workflow isn't needed, and so it not working isn't a problem. Quote:

Hello ParadigmComplex, good evening!
I managed to solve the problem today, January 7, 2023, at 2:50 pm in Portugal. In ways, I had never thought of! I had already tried to perform the commands with root login without success. I did a checklist of all my proxy and firewall configurations, they were all right... As in other times that I had installed BedRock Linux. I could not understand what was going wrong, I know that the certificate was having a problem due to the connection, along with the SSL. I did other tests and it kept going wrong... Until I put "sudo" with root login before the "brl update" command and to my surprise it worked. Detail... I don't have "sudo" installed and configured on my Debian 11. I noticed that this also happens when I have a root login and I try to execute the command "dpkg -i", I have to put "sudo" before the command, otherwise it doesn't work. On Fedora or Ubuntu, this has never happened to me, much less on OpenSUSE. Problem solved! I managed to install Fedora from Bedrock Linux on Debian 11. The funny thing is that I had already used Debian 11 other times, before formatting and that had never happened. I already purposely put "sudo" before the command as Root to do some research and see how the system behaved. Fortunately, I see that I have to keep researching, always! Thank you ParadigmComplex. Follow the Light and God save you! Hugo Lopes |
It's not clear to me how sudo helps here, but I'm happy to hear you've got a viable solution. Enjoy :)
