You are being too cryptic in your replies which indicates to others here that you are not serious about getting help in resolving the problem. If you posted here the actual command and result, it would be more useful than posting something like 'it didn't work, no output'. Did you copy and paste the command as shown? Every Linux system I'm aware of has parted available so that isn't the problem. In your initial post, you indicated that you had Mint installed and due to problems you were having with ANtiX, you formatted the drive so you no longer have Mint. What are you using now, the AntiX USB?

When that MX Linux "gathering information" timer showing percentages appears, try immediately bypassing it.

Press the Esc key.

Then press Yes.

Is this on the recently reinstalled Mint? Or is it on the MX on the usb? Or is it both? Using whichever, are you able to use a terminal to change directories or do anything useful? If simple commands such as parted aren't showing output there is a major problem. Might try the suggestion above, I have never tried to install MX so don't have any suggestions.

The terminal thing is just in MX (bootable usb). Mint works just fine. I tried the commands provided here on this thread and none work.
